The 5th Annual Ben Wicks’ I. Can Foundation
Golfing Fore Literacy tournament took place on May 30th at Whistle Bear Golf Club. This was an opportunity to help raise money for literacy around the world. It was Cartoonist Ben Wick's wish that every child has a chance to read, write, and the opportunity to be the best that they can be. The I.Can foundation is pleased and heartened that the participating children of the Little Libraries program in the Philippines, Brazil, Madagascar, Niger, Belize, Swaziland and even Canada are experiencing positive changes in their lives as a result of learning to read and write. Over 100 participants enjoyed a day of golf in the scorching hot sun and can feel great about helping make a difference for this foundation.
