National Multiple Births Awareness Day

KW POMBA (Parents of Multiple Births Association) celebrated National Multiple Births Awareness Day at the Waterloo Public Square on May 30th. This event is an annual cross-Canada celebration designated as the day for raising national awareness of the unique issues faced by multiple-birth individuals and their families. The event also commemorates the May 28th birth date of the Dionne quintuplets. This event in the Square included a bouncy castle, yummy cake, crafts and live music by the Skalywags.
