Kitchener Mayor's New Year's Levee
On January 14th Mayor Carl Zehr and city council laced up their skates at the annual New Year’s Levee at Kitchener City Hall. The levee, which was free to attend, featured skating at Civic Square. Attendees were also treated to refreshments, donated by Bingemans, as well the chance to win door prizes. The event was a perfect opportunity to visit with friends, families, neighbours, and an opportunity to get to know council representatives better. The Kitchener Musical Society Band performed musical favourites in the rotunda and the students of "Growing in the Arts" School of Dramatic & Cinema Arts also performed a variety of short skits.
