Gourmet Trail 2011

kidsLINK was proud to present their premier one-day event, featuring the area's finest restaurants and establishments. This years 13th annual Gourmet Trail was held on April 30th raising funds for kidsLINK, Respite Services. 500 eager connoisseurs began their culinary tour at 11:30 a.m. from University of Waterloo's Federation Hall. Everyone was escorted on Grand River Transit chartered buses, to enjoy the sampling of Waterloo region's exquisite food & wine at local restaurants. Each bus visited 3 restaurants and then returned to Federation Hall for desserts. Participating restaurants were; Rude Native, Boa Nova Rodizio Grill House, Blackshop, Moderno Bistro, Ennio's, Wildcraft, Gusto Catering Company at The Gallery On the Grand, King Street Trio and The Gallery Cafe & Tea Room. Participants enjoyed a fantastic day of food, drink, music and many, many giggles. SNAP KW would like to thank KidsLINK for inviting us to tag along and take part!
