K-W Mo-Town Party
RareFunk loves the Mo! For the uninitiated, that would be a moustache! Tamara, the owner of this great store in downtown Kitchener decided to embark on a funky new fundraising initiative to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Canada. Movember (formally known as November) is an annual charity event held throughout the month, where guys grow a Moustache (and girls support and get involved too!). The Moustache becomes the ribbon and the vehicle by which you raise awareness and funds for the cause. Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the commitment is to grow a Moustache and change the face of mens’ health. On Nov.28th, RareFunk threw a party at the Kitchener Farmers' Market. It was a night of Mo-Bro's sporting thier best Mo's and Mo-Sista's sporting their best bangs! There was a musical performance by Rufus. Door prizes, dancing, food and fun was had by all!
