Manulife Walk For Memories

On January 25th, community-minded folks went to the Waterloo Rec Centre to Walk or Skate for a great cause. It was done to support the programs and services provided by the Alzheimer Society of Kitchener-Waterloo for the over 5,500 people in our community living with Alzheimer’s Disease. Grand Prizes include a deluxe evening for two at Benjamin’s Inn or the Walper Terrace Hotel, including a $100 Dinner Voucher & 2 Theatre Tickets. Walkers qualified for more great incentive prizes as well as a draw. There were games and entertainment for everyone. The top two individual fundraisers were Cathy Neal & Barry Benness with the top two teams being Premier Homecare & Benness Team. The total raised was $43,233!
